Trying for a baby

What’s on your mind?
So i have a 2 week old baby and with my mw today we discussed contraceptives. She suggested the mierna for me as i would be able to get it discounted or free due to my low iron levels during pregnancy. Though i have read some things about it that would put me off having one. But then again im pretty sure all contraceptives have side effects ect, the mierna seems like its such a big(ish) procedure for it to not work out and have to go through it all again getting it taken out.
So im just looking for some info from some other mums out there that can give me some opinions on other types of contraceptions.

Have you looked into the jadel implant? I'm only using condoms as contraception as I'm planning to get pregnant in a few months. The jadel implant is safe for breastfeeding, it can stay in for upto 5years, can take it out at any time, for getting pregnant afterwards its the same as being on the pill, it dosen't stuff up your hormones like some other ones to. It should cost from $0-$55 for paying the doctors fee to get it put in, depends on your age and having a comunity services card. The side effects arn't that bad, it can screw around with your periods but all my friends have had normal periods on in it.
I was on the mini pill to start with but I found it hard to remember.
