Hey there, for about 3 days I have had this annoying pain come & go in my right breast, like a pin prick, I contacted healthline but they couldn't really help with what it could be, I will go to GP if it continues but just thought I'd ask if anyone else has had this or might know what causes it.

Generally speaking, most breast pain is hormonal, or at least has a benign cause. The reassuring thing is that nasties in the breast are painless, so don't panic! See doctor if you have discharge from the nipple (without squeezing), esp if it is blood stained or the pain continues to bother you, just to be on the safe side. Evening primose oil tablets are good for hormonal breast pain.

If you're breastfeeding, this could be thrush. Feels like glass in the breast ... maybe you just have a small touch of it??

Are you still breast feeding?
