"So amazing to read someone else's birth story especially since your son was the same day as Jack and only an hour apart :)
Good luck with your next one if you are brave enough ;) I've gone from saying never again to being all clucky again myself but I'm sure the next round is better, at least we know what we are in for!
Hope you are enjoying your boy, I'm loving this stage - much better than the newborn days!"

I had a completely natural, drug-free birth for my 9lb son.

"I have a 2 year old and 17 weeks pregnant. with our little girl i went into labour 1am and she was born 5.30am same morning. such an incredible birth, we had a water birth, and as it was so fast i didn't have any drugs at all. i was 24 yrs old and slim built she was 8 Ib but honestly was amazed to hear that as she felt more like 7 Ib. Really hoping for a similar experience with next one, but already has been a completely different pregnancy. can't wait though hope to do water birth again. and go drug free again, we shall see..hehe =)"
A happy ending to a traumatic labour.
I finally agree to be induced despite my misgivings.
I decided to have a home birth with my daughter because I simply wanted a water birth and the hospital near our house only has two birthing pools. I realize that this is a decision that many people struggle with as I had so many people react negatively when I told them I was having a home birth. "What if something goes wrong?" was usually their first question. I guess its understandable to be fearful but in my experience a home birth free of drugs and intervention is worthwhile.
This is the birth story of my first baby, Christopher Charles Hinton (who goes by the name Charlie) He was born 12 days before his due date on Friday August 7th, 2012 at Waikato Hospital. He weighed 7lbs, 3oz and was 48cm long, with a face that is the spitting image of his daddy, DF.

"Lovely story! well done."
My DS may have kept me waiting for 11 days over his EDD, but when he finally decided to come he arrived quickly (2hrs30) and gently in a birthing pool in our bedroom at home, with his sister fast asleep in the bedroom across the hallway.
What an amazing experience!

"Thanks for sharing your story. Homebirth is great..! My no.'s 2 & 3 were homebirths, with no. 3 being a waterbirth! :-)"
Thinking I knew what lay ahead of me, the only thing I was worried about was making it to the hospital on time.....well, that was the least of my worries!!!
