"I couldn't breastfeed because I had flat nipples, something I never realised before! I expressed and bottle fed from the beginning, and kept trying to breastfeed using nipple shields, but just couldnt get it to work. I didnt mind too much as bottle feeding meant dad could do it too, but the expressing got too much for me and I stopped a week ago after 5 weeks and now just on formula. It was a hard decision as you just want the best for your little one, but I'm glad I did as I was really struggling and now I feel I have a more time and energy to enjoy my baby and play with her. I havent seen any difference in her with being on formula, I feel I gave her a good start and my advice to anyone would be just dont put too much pressure on yourself and do what is right for you. Breast milk is great for your baby, but so is a rested and happy mum! :)"
