"I know children learn (or even adults) by asking, so I dont mind my son asking me questions. If I dont know the answer, i tell him that even mummy doesnt know everything or it is like this beacuse God wants it to be like this. Sometimes, if he asks same question again and again, i tell him that i already told you about that, so that he learns to remember things. It's actually good to google something you dont know to add to your knowledge too:-0)"

How do you prevent your child falling asleep when they you don’t want them to (like in the car on the way home), since this stops them going to sleep at night?

"I am not sure who wrote the title for this article, but if it was someone at Treasures could you please change it so it's proper English. "Preventing your child falling asleep" perhaps. It shows up on my side bar a lot and annoys me."

When are swimming lessons a good idea?
Friday, 14 December 2012 9:19 a.m.
"I agree and disagree. First of all it depends on the local swim school. Some can often teach up tp 5 pre schoolers in one lesson and only have them for 20 minutes. This is not enough time to teach a child to swim. My sons swim school only have up to 2 children in one lesson and they have them for a full 30 minutes. I have always taken him swimming and he is extremely confident in the water, but with 1 term of swimming he is swimming by himself, safely listens and sits when the other child is swimming and takes on board every thing that is being taught. He is only 2years and 8 months old. "
