It's not much fun is it. <br />Despite it seeming opposite to what you'd expect you're more likely to find putting them to bed earlier will work. Also keep up the afternoon nap as long as poss, if the 3 yr old won't go to sleep try to make sure he gets some quiet time (pref if his room so you get a break too lol) at the same time as his sister sleeps. The more they sleep the more they sleep IYKWIM. <br /> <br />A visual trigger might help, teach them the numbers that have to be showing on the clock before they're allowed out of bed. If they don't recognise numbers yet try a clock with opening eyes or a light or music coming on with a timer. <br /> <br />The three year old might respond to a reward chart for staying in his bedroom until 6 but the 2 yr old is probably too young for it. <br /> <br />Good luck, I managed to retrain one of my early birds but the other defeated me. husband was on the deck texting (trying to get reception) , ollie has never shown any interest in getting into the water ( i feel that he accidently fell in because he was peering over to see where his stone fell in), he just likes to sit at the waters edge to throw stones in and watch the fish. i came out and asked my husband if he could see him from the deck and as soon as we both looked up ollie was already falling backwards into the pond!, chris made a sprint to the pond with me not far behind (it was a good 10 meteres away), the scariest thing when we got to him is that he wasnt struggling to get out of the water he was justn calmly lying there with his eyes wide open looking straight up (mouth shut), and was sinking down, chris pulled him straight up knocking his head on the overhanging rocks which made a nasty cut on his head ( which made ollie most upset overall) , i burst into tears as soon as chris handed ollie to me and it took chris a while for it to sink in for him, to this day i am still having nightmares, our property is surrounded by a creek and we havent filled in the pond we just make sure that there is someone there contstantly!!, " </p> <p class="nM">
