kids which is something normal and i said that it is gonna change when she starts school/ However, she has been at school for seven months and still not uttered a word with any of the teachers, she was diagnozed that she has selective mutism and we are trying to go on the right way, but honestly i feel it is in vain. she hasn't changed. although at home she doesn't stop talking. i dunno what to </div> <p class="nM"> my best friend has a daughter who is selective mute, the childs dad is the same way, with speech therapy sessions she can now talk alot more and even to me of which was a mission but i never pushed her to talk to me and she relaxed alot sooner.it takes time and patience and remember it's not anything you have done or your daughter. <br />Don't pressure her to talk to strangeres, she proberly just can't do it and never let her see you get angry as she will think poorly of herself and it will make matters worse ( my friend found that out the hard way) <br />i hope i
