These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Treasures website, www.treasures.co.nz, and Treasures Baby Club (including Treasures Forum). Please read them carefully.

By using the Treasures website and/or joining Treasures Baby Club and participating in Treasures Forum, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by the Treasures website and Treasures Baby Club Terms & Conditions, the Treasures Community Guide and our Privacy Policy. Over time these documents may be updated. We encourage you to check them regularly.

Login details

Your right to use the members’ areas of Treasures website is personal to you. You may not authorise others to use your login details.

Competitions and Promotions

Information on prizes and how to enter competitions and prize draws offered from time to time on the Treasures website form part of the these Terms & Conditions.  Information on competitions and promotions (including prize information, how to enter and prize draws) offered from time to time on the Treasures website is included with the separate Terms and Conditions for each competition or promotion.

You grant SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited the right to use, reproduce, modify, translate and distribute any material you post or submit to the Treasures website, Treasures Forum or Treasures microsite in any medium and for any purpose, including uses such as within Little Treasures magazine.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information or material you provide or post to the Treasures website, Treasures Forum or Treasures microsite:

We ask that you avoid criticism of products, named individuals, corporate entities or health practitioners in the Forum.

You also agree not to submit or post any material which constitutes junk mail or unauthorised advertising, including solicitation of other users to buy or sell any products or services without the prior written consent of SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited.

SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited reserves the right to delete or modify any post without prejudice or explanation, if deemed to be in conflict with these Terms & Conditions, the Treasures Community Guide or our Privacy Policy.

Monitoring

You acknowledge and agree that the persons appointed by SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited to host and administer the Treasures website have the right, at their sole discretion and without notice, to moderate, review, edit, move or delete any material submitted or posted and may decline to post material to the website.

In addition, SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited reserves the right to take such action as it may deem necessary if you misuse Treasures website or fail to abide by these Terms & Conditions, the Treasures Community Guide or our Privacy Policy, such as expelling you from certain parts of the website, or terminating or suspending your access to the website.

Your Use of the Treasures Website and Treasures Baby Club (including Treasures Forum)

You agree to use Treasures website and Treasures Baby Club (including the Treasures Forum) only for lawful purposes.

SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited does not guarantee that material appearing on the Treasures website which has been provided by users has been provided with permission of the copyright holder and therefore cannot give any assurance that such material may be freely used.

The Treasures website contains copyrighted materials, trademarks and other proprietary information, and the entire contents of Treasures website are copyrighted as a collective work. Material on the Treasures website or downloaded by you is for your personal use only.

You agree to indemnify SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited and its employees, distributors, agents and representatives and to hold them harmless from any and all claims and liabilities (including fees) which may arise from your submission, from your unauthorised use of material obtained through Treasures website, or from your breach of these Terms & Conditions, the Treasures Community Guide or our Privacy Policy, or from any such acts by any person using your login details.

You further agree that SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited is not responsible and shall have no liability to you, with respect to any material posted or supplied by others.

Limitation of Liability

The Treasures website is provided "as is", without any warranties relating to any subject matter, product or service accessed or obtained through the Treasures website. SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited expressly disclaims any and all warranties expressed and implied including, but not limited to, any warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Irrespective of any monitoring of content or other items on the Treasures website which SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited may choose to undertake, SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited shall not be responsible for screening, editorial, or other control over content or other items and you acknowledge that such content may include material that could be deemed distasteful, misleading, inaccurate, offensive, pornographic or otherwise objectionable.

SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited assumes no responsibility or liability for the preservation of content on Treasures website and may modify or remove it at its sole discretion.

If you are under 18, you may use the Treasures website only with involvement of a parent or guardian. The Treasures website and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

You hereby release SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited from any and all liability for all claims related to content and any other items obtained on or through Treasures website, as well as to the security or level of privacy provided.

Payment

Payment for product orders from the Treasures website must be received in full by credit card before an order can be processed.

Treasures Points

Treasures Unique Codes can be found printed under the top flap of all Treasures nappy packs. Unique codes are not transferable and may only be redeemed by Treasures Baby Club members who, for personal use, purchased Treasures product using Treasures Unique Codes. We reserve the right to request proof of purchase. In case of any dispute, the decision of SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited shall be final.

Despatch & Delivery

Please allow up to 14 days for delivery. All risk of loss, theft or damage to the goods passes to the purchaser at the time of delivery. All goods will be dispatched to the supplied delivery address at the time of order.

If we are out of stock of an item ordered, a full refund will be made. If you have more than one item on order, we will process the items we do have in stock and refund the cost of the out-of-stock item.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

Faulty or damaged goods received by a purchaser will be replaced, or a full refund made using the method with which you originally paid, if returned to us within 30 days of order confirmation or where statutory warranties otherwise apply. Items must be returned to despatch address noted on order confirmation. Please include a brief explanation of the fault with your returned item.

Returns

Returns must be sent back to the despatch address noted at the foot of order confirmation and all standard returns are at the purchaser’s cost. Treasures Baby Club offers a 14-day right of return for products returned to us in original condition. The member is liable for any item being returned if item or its packaging arrives damaged. In this event we reserve the right not to offer a refund.

Product Descriptions

The Treasures website and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by SCA Hygiene Australasia Limited itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

Treasures Community Guide

The Treasures Community is designed to be a place for parents, and parents-to-be, to meet new friends and share advice. It’s where you’ll meet some of the best parenting experts – other mums and dads!  

It is important to us that all our members are treated with respect and that the site continues to be a friendly place for people to meet, talk and exchange experiences.

Moderation

This is an open community that gives you the opportunity to discuss your thoughts, opinions and views with other parents. Whilst Treasures randomly monitors the site for offensive or inappropriate posts, we believe our members should be able to self-moderate and report any posts they feel need to be reviewed.  

Rules

By posting a comment in the Treasures Community, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by the Treasures website and Treasures Baby Club Terms & Conditions, the Treasures Community Guide, and our Privacy Policy. These include your agreement not to use obscene or offensive language or to submit material that is, or may potentially be, libellous, abusive or hateful, an invasion of anyone's privacy or harmful to other users.

Tips

• To use the Treasures Community, you must be a Treasures Baby Club member and logged in.

• Advertising a product or service is not permitted. Advertising messages will be deleted.

• For your personal safety, do not disclose your personal details (email address or phone number) in the Treasures Community.

• The context of a forum message can easily be misunderstood. We recommend you read your message before posting it.

• As this is a Treasures funded website, we'd appreciate if you could please refrain from discussing competitior products or brands.

How can I add a comment to an article or member’s story?

You’ll need to be a Treasures Baby Club member and logged in to add your comment. Then just type your comment into the box below the article or member’s story

How can I add my own story?

To share your own stories, you’ll need to be a Treasures Baby Club member. Once you’ve signed in, go to Your Stories under Your Treasures. From here you can easily add your experience and images

Can I delete a comment I have made?

Go to Your Community under Your Treasures. Click on the Your Replies tab – you can view and delete your comments here

How can I see replies to my community posts?

Go to Your Community under Your Treasures. Click on the Your Discussions tab – you can see who’s replied to your messages.

How many votes has my poll had?

Go to Your Community under Your Treasures. Click on the ‘Your polls’ tab and select the poll you’re interested in.

How can I report offensive content?

If you’re offended by anything in the Community, click on the ‘Report’ button on the message. This will alert us to it and we’ll investigate.

How do I know who’s online?

In the Community you can see a selection of members who are currently online. You can also search for online users on the People page.

How can I find other members like me?

You can search for other members at your stage in People under the Community. Don’t forget – the more details you enter in your own profile, the easier it is for other people to find you!

What are the coloured frames around member profile pictures?

The colour-coded profile picture frames tell you what stage a member is at in their journey – blue means a member is ‘trying’, purple means ‘pregnant’, pink means ‘baby’, and orange means ‘toddler’.

How can I find out more about a particular member?

You can click on a member’s forum display name to see their profile.

Can I send private messages?

You can leave a message for a particular member in their guestbook. This message will only be able to be read by that member.

How will I know if someone sends me a message?

When you sign in, any new guestbook entries will appear in the ‘Your Treasures’ panel on the right hand side of the page. You can click on this link or go to Your Guestbook under Your Treasures.
