The August/september issue of Treasures magazine had a piece on "Smart Balls" for helping to strengthen pelvic floor muscles. Has anyone tried these?? Pelvic floor exercises are such a pain to have to do - I always forget - so I ithought the smart balls could be an easy, "interesting" way of of doing It??? I've also found them cheaper on a different website than the one in the magazine.

Thanks for all that info Rocky. At $30, I think they're worth a go too. I'm kind of hoping that after pushing out 3 decent sized babies, a couple of smart balls won't get the better of me !! I'm trying to get back into exercise and running too, so I'm hoping they will help with leaky bladder syndrome too. I was actually quite surprised to see them in the Treasures magazine, but they must have thought they were worth mentioning.

Different things work for different people - these worked for me but they may not for you. At about $30.00 I thought they were worth giving it a go.
Also - hide them from the kids - my son mistook them for a rattle when I opened the packet in the mail. uggh!
It is easier for me - because you actually have something physically there to target (squeeze). My muscles were not that weak but I couldn't tell when I was squeezing well enough and when I wasn't.
With the funballs you know your squeezing something and for some of us - the movement of the weights inside give you a bit of a thrill. Although it saying this you can't just insert them and do these exercises well sitting there at your desk at work or at the park etc. LOL.
I know the pics look small, even when I ordered them off the sex shop website they looked small and i could hardly believe it when they showed up and looked so big. (It was like someone had shot them with steriods cause they definately didn't appear that big in the mag either).

Hey Rocky - The picture in the magazine makes them look reasonably small (?) so am interested to read your comments. I'll probably be stunned when mine arrive too!! Do you reckon its easier than normal pelvic floor exercises because it targets exactly the right muscles???

sorry - about the double posting. Got an error message saying time elapsed and repost....blah blah
Hi C Dub,
Didn't think too many people would write about this - I got a pair from some online sex store - cheaper than the Treasures recommendation.
When they arrived I almost fell over - they just looked huge to me...yes I know - we've pushed a baby out of that orifice what makes you think you can't stick something the size of a little ping pong ball up there? They supply it with a little satchet of lube as well - if you aren't planning on foreplay before inserting them - get LUBE!!!
Found that squeezing on a tampon did the same thing but that the "funballs" were just that - more fun because they have weights in them that shift when you clench/unclench - which gives you a thrill when you can control your muscles.
Like all things - it takes time for them to work - so don't expect too much to change within the 1st few days.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has used them and if they work.
