NZFW - Rock Your Bump
With only days till our Little Treasures Mum & Kids show at New Zealand Fashion Week! We talk to Sarah from Rock Your Bump, the maternity fashion boutique joining us on the runway, about the latest trends in maternity fashion, and some tips for styling your bump!
What can we expect to see on the runway from Rock Your Bump?
Rock Your Bump will be showcasing our latest styles and colours for the Spring/Summer season. We have a great range of gorgeous maternity and breastfeeding clothing that is softly feminine, fashion focused and fun. There will be an outfit to suit every Mum to take her from a casual everyday look through to something for that special occasion.
What is your process when it comes to choosing products to stock? What do you look for in a maternity/breastfeeding brand?
We love that fashion trends are now seen in maternity and breastfeeding clothing. We pick out garments that we feel our customers will love and that reflect the Kiwi Mum lifestyle placing emphasis on quality, practicality and affordability.
What are your best maternity and breastfeeding style hacks?
Purchase your wardrobe basics early so they will carry you through your pregnancy and beyond. Many of our Maternity clothes are also suitable for breastfeeding mums. A denim jacket, longline cardi or blazer can change a casual outfit to something more special for date night!
It can be overwhelming when trying to find maternity clothing. What would your top basic maternity pieces be in building a wardrobe to take your through pregnancy, and beyond?
Coming into the hotter months, we always find dresses are incredibly popular. They are effortless to wear, comfortable and cool. Maternity dresses and tops you can easily breastfeed in also mean you are able to get more wear out of your new purchases. Lastly, you can’t go wrong with a pair of denim maternity jeans or shorts as a wardrobe staple, these allow you to mix and match all your favourite tops.
