Made by Mums
The love that two mums have of making real food with no nasties for busy New Zealand households has meant an entry into the biscuit aisle for gourmet pie makers, I Love Pies.
Today marks the launch of their I Love Baking brand, and the release of a range of cookies that everyone in the family will love.
“We wanted to create a better biscuit like you would make at home,” say co-founders Jessie Stanley and Maree Glading.
“We love to bake for our children but as working Mothers the reality is that we don’t always have the time to do so, and often feel compromised by what is available to buy. We don’t want to buy biscuits that have long ingredient lists and are made with palm oil and other things that we would never find in our pantries at home.”
“So our range of I Love Baking cookies was developed out of our desire to create a biscuit that we will be happy to give our own children, and our personal dissatisfaction with the biscuits currently available in supermarkets.”
“Our own I Love Baking biscuits are made with butter as opposed to palm oil. We use unrefined sugar and we’ve been innovative by replacing twenty percent of the sugar that would normally be used in the cookie with date puree. We’ve also included the goodness of wholegrain oats.”
The cookies have no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. They are also made locally in New Zealand.
Available in 4 delicious variants:
· Munchy Choc Chip
· Coconut Choc Chip
· Ginger Ninja
· Manuka Honey Muesli – includes honey from Manuka Health
The I Love Baking cookies are all RRP$5 and available in supermarkets nationwide.
